Programs

We believe in providing a physical environment that is safe, clean, healthy, and child oriented by design. Classrooms are arranged to promote fun, yet academic challenges while learning as they play with tons of choices and at a range of developmental levels. Activity areas allow children the opportunity to explore, to experience, and most importantly, to succeed. We are licensed for 99 children per shift. Our program participates with the quality rating standards of YoungStar. We are currently scoring at 3 stars, striving for 5 stars.

Each infant and toddler shall receive individual contact and attention upon demand or according to their schedules at home (napping and feeding). Staff and parent communication are the keys to successful coordination. All parents of infants and toddlers must completely fill out an Intake Form when they register. This form will be kept in their classroom file. Also, teachers communicate daily with parents through an App called HI Mama https://www.himama.com/. Hi mama helps us to capture and share every important milestone from the classroom and keeps open lines of communication though in app messages and reminders.

Opportunities throughout the day are given for individualized care. Growth will be achieved through physical, emotional, social, language and gross/fine motor development. Many opportunities for freedom of movement, creeping and crawling are provided with safety being primary. NO BOTTLE PROPPING! Babies will be held when being fed if they are not able to hold their own bottles. Infants and toddlers will both engage in outdoor activities daily. The teachers will interact with children by song, talk, body language, and reading to the children. The environment shall include play toys, colorful mobiles, stuffed animals, noise makers, books, pictures and their own art to be displayed at eye level. Parents are encouraged to send a change of clothes to stay at the center if an infant or toddler has an accident and soil their clothing.

We feel that healthy nutrition and consistent meal patterns are crucial to the development of the children and families we serve. Children’s Pantry kitchen staff plan and prepares all meals on site. Our commercial style kitchen is equipped to provide one-on-one training for our staff. We are proud participants of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a Federal program that provides healthy meals and snacks to children receiving childcare, participating in before and after school programs, or residing in homeless shelters. Each day, more than 2.6 million children participate in the CACFP across the country. Our facility is reimbursed for serving nutritious meals which meet USDA requirements.
